Arrival in Auckland

To ensure you are on the group transfer we recommend you book one of the following flights:  Air New Zealand flight NZ102/VA7402: departs Sydney at 9.45am – arrives Auckland at 2.55pm  Qantas Airways flight QF143: departs Sydney at 10.05am - arrives Auckland at 3.20pm 4pm - Transfer to the city centre and time at leisure for the remainder of the day. Golf at Gulf Harbour Country Club

Today you’ll travel north to beautiful Whangaparoa Peninsula. Play golf at Gulf Harbour Country Club. Gulf Harbour Country Club Spectacular finishing holes, ocean views, rolling terrain and classic, traditional values. All combine to make the Gulf Harbour Country Club one of the most exciting new developments in New Zealand. This 6,400 metre, par 72 golf course is located at Gulf Harbour on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, just north of Auckland. It meanders through native grasses and vegetation and has a natural look and feel from start to finish. Golf at Titirangi Golf Club and travel to Taupo

This morning tee off at Titirangi Golf Club, Auckland. Titirangi Golf Club You are welcome to enjoy the splendour of one of golf's greatest challenges only 20 minutes from downtown Auckland. Titirangi is a world-class golf course situated in a beautiful bushland setting between the lower slopes of the Waitakere Ranges and the Manukau Harbour. As one of New Zealand’s top courses, it is the only one in the country designed by Alister Mackenzie. Mackenzie’s designs are notable for their sensitivity to the nature of the original site and he is admired for producing holes that offer an ideal balance of risk and reward. After designing Titirangi in 1927, MacKenzie went on to design some of the world’s top courses including Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. Consistently ranked as one of New Zealand’s top courses, currently ranked 7th and Auckland’s No. 1 course. After golf we travel to Taupo – (3 hrs)

TAUPO - located on the edge of Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake Taupo is a pretty town renowned for its trout fishing, the Huka Falls, and the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station. WED 08 Mar 17:

Golf at Wairakei International Golf Course

Today play a round of golf at Wairakei International. Wairakei International Golf Course 18 hole champtionship golf course – Par 72, 6460 metres from the championship tees, skilfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings of bush, prolific bird song and picturesque scenery. Many find sanctuary on a golf course but it is rare to find a golf course that is a sanctuary, New Zealand's Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary is thought to have scored a world first! The ecological restoration is the first of its kind in New Zealand and was prompted by golf course owner Gary Lane’s desire to create a unique environment where golf and the natural habitat work in harmony. Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary is situated in the Wairakei Tourist Park which is an extraordinary geothermal area just north of Taupo township. Cultural experiences, bubbling mud and hot pools are a major attraction for visitors to the Taupo region, and Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary is one of the most popular golfing destinations in New Zealand.

THURS 09 Mar 17:

Golf at Kinloch Club and travel to Napier

This morning tee off at Kinloch Club. The Kinloch Club Golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed The Kinloch Club is often compared to the classic link courses in Scotland and Ireland. However, instead of traditional sea views, this world-class championship Par 72 course is positioned between panoramic views of Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s largest fresh-water lake, and the natural beauty of rugged rural farmland. Ranked as New Zealand’s number one golf course in 2014 by a select team of New Zealand Golf Professionals the Kinloch Club is also rated 76th of the top 100 golf courses outside of America by Golf Digest Magazine.

In the afternoon travel from Taupo to Napier, Hawkes Bay. NAPIER - the largest city in the Hawke's Bay, whose port handles the province's huge volumes of produce, spreads around the wedge of Bluff Hill, sometimes still referred to as "Scinde Island." Napier was almost completely surrounded by water before the severe 1931 earthquake flattened the city but uplifted vast areas of the surrounding seabed. As a result of the disaster, the city was almost completely rebuilt during the 1930's, giving it an Art Deco style of architecture, unique to a New Zealand city. Accommodation: The Crown Hotel, 2 nights The Crown Hotel Napier overlooks the waterfront in the historical village of Ahuriri, Napier. The hotel offers boutique accommodation and conference facilities in a picturesque seaside setting. FRI 10 Mar 17:

Golf at Cape Kidnappers

Today play a round of golf at Cape Kidnappers. Cape Kidnappers Designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the par 71 golf course measures 7,119 yards (6,510 meters) and will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Completed in 2004, Cape Kidnappers has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf and is currently ranked the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf Magazine.

SAT 11 Mar 17:

Napier Departure

10am - Today a wine guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on a private guided wine tour. Enjoy tastings at winery cellar doors and experience a variety of ‘household name’ and boutique producers. A cheese platter at one of the wineries is also included. 1pm - Upon conclusion of your wine tour you will be transferred to Napier Airport for your flight home.  NZ5288/VA8288: departs Napier at 1:45pm – arrives Auckland at 2:50pm then NZ105/VA7405 departs Auckland at 4:05pm – arrives Sydney at 5:40pm.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION New Zealand Quarantine is quite strict, so to save time at the airport, please ensure that your golf clubs & shoes are thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival at Queenstown International Airport. Some of the times on this itinerary may change, but your Tour Leader will advise you of any changes as they are known. To make the most of your time while on tour, please be ready for departure and pick-ups each day at least 10 minutes before the times stated on your itinerary to ensure everyone makes the scheduled tee times etc. There are some early morning starts and while we know you are on holiday we also know you want to make the most of your golf on these amazing courses.

PAYMENTS An AU$1000pp non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on this tour. The final balance is due on 4th October 2016. No refunds are available after this date. The final payment will be for the full tour price in NZD converted to AUD based on the best NZD sell rate from the Major 4 banks as at 10am on 3rd October 2016. The deposits paid will then be deducted from this to give the balance owing.

CANCELLATIONS Cancellations by the client must be in writing to Teed-Up Golf Tours and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person:  

Cancellation at any time after deposit has been paid: loss of deposit. Cancellation between 4th October 2016 and departure date: 100% of the package value lost
