We would like to keep them in our prayers and try to arrange to visit. IHM CORPUS CHRISTI MASS AND POTLUCK BRUNCH Looking ahead, as the month of June quickly approaches, we would like to remind everyone about our Corpus Christi Celebration. In honor of the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, our Mass schedule will change. We will have our regular evening mass on Saturday, June 6th at 5:00 PM. On Sunday, June 7th, there is only one mass. It will begin at 10:00 AM. This will be a bilingual Mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession and Brunch. Please Join us! As we did last year after Mass, we will gather in the school gym to have a potluck brunch. We are asking everyone to bring a dish to share for the brunch. We especially need breakfast casseroles, quiches, fruit, and breakfast pastries such as coffee cakes, bagels, and muffins. We will provide juice and coffee. If you are willing to bring a dish, please sign up after the masses the next two weekends. We cannot cook items at the brunch but we can keep dishes warm. Please bring your food in a disposable pan if possible or mark your serving dish so that we can return it to you. We hope to have a wonderful brunch as we did last year and to enjoy our fellowship and unity. Free will donations are asked and appreciated. MISA EN HONOR DEL CUERPO Y LA SANGRE DE CRISTO Y ALMUERZO Ya que el mes de Junio se acerca rápidamente, le recordamos a todos sobre nuestra Celebración del Corpus Christi. En honor de la Fiesta del Cuerpo y La Sangre de Cristo, nuestro horario de Misas cambiara. Tendremos nuestra misa regular de la tarde del Sabado, 6 de Junio a las 5:00 PM. El Domingo, 7 de Junio, solo habrá una Misa. Comenzara a las 10:00 AM. Esta será una misa bilingüe seguida por una Procesión Eucarística y Almuerzo. Por favor, únase a nosotros! Al igual que el año pasado después de la Misa, nos reuniremos en el gimnasio de la escuela para un almuerzo. Estamos pidiendo a todos que colaboren y traigan un platillo para compartir. Necesitamos especialmente platillos para desayuno, fruta, pasteles, pan para café, bagels y panecillos. Vamos a ofrecer jugo y café. Si usted está dispuesto a colaborar, por favor apúntese después de las misas los próximos dos fines de semana. No podemos cocinar alimentos para el almuerzo pero podemos mantener platillos tibios. Religious Education Vacation Bible Schoolnd– please consider enrolling your children in our VBS program this summer. It will be held from Monday, June 22 , to Friday, June 26th, from 9 AM to noon. The days include bible study, crafts, videos, music, snacks, and games. The tuition is $50 for one child, $75 for two, and $100 for three or more children in a family. It is intended for preschoolers through 6th graders. Older students can be used as student leaders. Please join us. Teen Summer Service Trip 2015 – we still have room for a few more teenagers on our service trip to Wichita, Kansas. The trip will be held from Saturday, July 18th, until Sunday, July 26th. Because of our very generous parishioners and a grant from another parish, the cost of the trip is only $85. If you have a teenager interested in going, please call Daniel Maul at 773-478-1157, ext. 16. Next school year – The Religious thEducation Program will begin next year with a Catechist, Aide, and Volunteer Retreat on Saturday, September 12 at 10 AM. Our first class will be on Saturday, September 19th at 9 AM. Please mark your calendars. Now is the time to register your children for next year's religious education classes. We'd like all of our returning families to register as soon as possible. Your children were sent home with a registration form, but if you need another one please call or stop by the rectory.
