Grand Canyon Tour

Bryce Canyon and Zion

Grand Canyon White Water Rafting

This comprehensive tour of the Grand Canyon takes you over the New Hoover Dam bypass bridge on the way to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven wonders of the world. Gaze out over the deepest part of the Canyon at Mather Point and admire the spectacular views at Bright Angel Lodge. There are buildings of historical significance here, and it is only a short walk to Hopi House, the Indian Art Museum and gift shop.

Bryce Canyon is one of those rare places that has the wow factor! Many who have visited both the Grand Canyon and Bryce feel that Bryce Canyon is actually more spectacular. Marvel at the weirdly shaped hoodoos, in an amazing array of colourful hues. Not only do you visit Bryce Canyon on this tour, but also another amazing location, Zion National Park as well.

Experience the adrenalin of white water rafting on the Grand Canyon. Travel all the way to the very bottom of the Grand Canyon, part of the way on the legendary Route 66, and shoot rapids along the Colorado River. Your river running guides are real Hualapai Indians. At the other end you’ll climb into a helicopter for a flight to the top of the Grand Canyon.

Vancouver With a multicultural, urban atmosphere and a stunning natural setting, Vancouver is a city that consistently succeeds in delighting everyone. A sparkling harbour and backdrop of snow capped mountains sets the scene for a cosmopolitan city break where there’s no shortage of attractions, shopping, café culture, galleries and museums. Big drawcards are the expansive Stanley Park for running or wandering in beautiful surroundings; Gastown for its eclectic mix of shops, bistros and galleries; and Granville Island for its Public Market and quaint artists’ studios.

Victoria Canada’s capital city of Victoria, located on Vancouver Island, displays its British colonial past in all its glory. Stately historic buildings sit alongside the gentle bobbing of boats on the Inner Harbour and grand old castles are graced by the most beautiful of gardens. Whale watching is fantastic off the coast of the island, or stay on land and indulge in a fine high tea.

Whistler A year-round mountain resort with a charming village full of cafés, shops and bars, Whistler offers activities galore in a gorgeous alpine setting. Two majestic mountains – Whistler and Blackcomb are here for the taking. Ski, snowboard, hike, canoe, cycle, the list goes on. Be sure to check out the amazing views from the gondola and don’t miss spotting wildlife both day and night.

Calgary and Rocky Mountains Western charm meets lively city in Calgary. Surrounded by working cattle ranches, the city serves as the gateway to the Canadian Rockies, and is a energetic city in its own right. Time your visit so you can be at the city’s biggest annual event, The Calgary Stampede. The national parks of the Rocky Mountains are simply glorious. Lush green mountains make way for plunging mirror lakes and unique wildlife is abundant. If you’re going to see bear, elk, wolves and mountain goat anywhere, this is the place! Must-sees are the picturesque communities of Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper.

Eastern Canada The largest city in the country, Toronto is as diverse as it is cosmopolitan. From country charm to chic wining and dining, the city set on the shores of Lake Ontario serves up a worldly experience for everyone. The two French-speaking cities of Montreal and Quebec City offer experiences all their own. Montreal is romantically traditional, yet edgy and uplifting and packed full of culture. Quebec City's rich heritage and beautiful natural surroundings are its assets.

Cruising from Canada

Cruising from Canada 7 Night Alaska Cruise again. And it does: Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than any place else in the world. Day 4: Skagway, Alaska Ride the antique White Pass and Yukon narrow-gauge railway, step into the Red Onion Saloon or peruse the restored buildings and wooden boardwalks of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Day 5: Juneau, Alaska No roads lead to Juneau, you need to come by air or water, but when you arrive, the place will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. Squeezed between the Gastineau Channel and Coast Mountains, Juneau offers a lot of variety in close proximity. The massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields are at its back door. The vast Tongass National Forest stretches away to the northeast. Shop downtown or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, whale watch, flight-see or fish. The MS Amsterdam blends the very latest in shipbuilding technology with the artistry, personalized touches and superior service that has made Holland America Line one of the highest-rated cruise lines in the world. Day 1: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Depart Vancouver onboard the MS Amsterdam. Day 2: Cruising at Sea Day 3: Glacier Bay, Alaska Cruise to Glacier Bay National Park and see a World Heritage site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an everchanging glacial landscape. When a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and thunders into the sea the impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. Hold your breath as you catch the moment on film. Then wait for it all to happen

Day 6: Ketchikan, Alaska Ketchikan clutches the shores of the Tongass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. The stairways are weathered and the vibe is cheerful in the town that calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World. Besides the main attractions – Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village – try a flight-seeing trip to Misty Fjords National Monument. These deepwater fjords were gouged out by retreating glaciers, leaving granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls plunging into placid waters. Day 7: Inside Passage, Alaska The fabled Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deepdraft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. The scenery is unbelievable, with forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative

towns loaded with history, culture and adventure. With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world. All day long it hums with activity. Day 8: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Disembark in Vancouver.
