Home and Hospital Visitation/Visita a Casa y Hospital If someone you know is homebound or in the hospital, please call the rectory and let us know. We would like to keep them in our prayers and try to arrange to visit. Mass Intentions Part of our tradition as a Catholic Community is to remember our loved ones in our prayer and gathering. Many times, we do this simple gesture of our prayer in the intentions of our masses, published each week in our bulletin. If you would like to set a special intention for a loved one, please contact the Rectory at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to reserve. The Novena for Our Lady of Guadalupe will begin on Saturday, December 3rd, in the church at 7:00 p.m. culminating on Monday, December 12th. On the morning of Monday, December 12th, the Mañanitas will begin at 5:00 a.m. in church, followed by coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts in the vestibule. There will also be Mass at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Please join us for these prayerful events!

La Novena a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe comenzara el Sábado, 3 de Diciembre, en la Iglesia culminando el Lunes, 12 de Diciembre. La mañana de el Lunes, 12 de Diciembre, se llevara acabo las Mañanitas empezando a las 5:00 a.m., seguido por café, chocolate, y pan en el vestíbulo de la iglesia. WREATH SALE!!! Its that time of the year again! The Liturgy, Arts & Environment Committee will be holding its annual Christmas Wreath Sale after masses, the weekend of December 3rd & 4th, for the Women’s Center. Remember, it is cash & carry! CORONAS NAVIDE AS!!! ¡Es el tiempo del año otra vez! El Grupo de Liturgia, Comité de Arte y Medio Ambiente llevará acabo su venta anual de Coronas Navideñas después de las misas, el fin de semana de el 3 y 4 de Diciembre, para el Centro de Mujeres. Recuerde, se aceptara efectivo solamente y tendrán que llevárselas ese mismo día! Esperamos que sean generosos como lo han hecho en el pasado. To qualify, ALL property taxes must be fully paid AND your income must be less than $75,000 in 2015. There is also an Additional Senior Supplement for those who are at least 60 years old on Jan.1, 2016 and meet other conditions. Brochures about this program, which expires on NOV 30, 2016, are available on the back table in the church vestibule. More information can be obtained at www.cityofchicago.org/ChicagoPropertyTaxRebate. Help is also available weekdays and Saturdays at the Chicago Public Library, 3401W. Religious Education News and Upcoming Events Parish Reconciliation Service: on Wednesday, November 30th, we will have a Parish Reconciliation service in the church at 7:00 p.m. At this service, all members of the parish may receive the sacrament of reconciliation. Please remember that all Catholics should make a conscientious confession at least once a year or when one is aware of having committed a grave sin. Please join us. R.E. Family Mass on Sunday, December 3rd: Please join us. We will begin our day with our Family Mass at 8:45 a.m. Our next Confirmation meeting is for the Candidates and their chosen Sponsors. It will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, at 7:00 p.m. in the school gym.
