Refine Roles & Responsibilities for school leadership teams: Our Results

What should schools do? What should SST do? Schools should be focused on… 1. Setting & implementing a school vision & culture 2. Implementing a rigorous curriculum 3. Developing excellent teachers 4. Ensuring a strong student culture 5. Ensuring strong family relationships 6. Ensuring seamless school operations Region should be focused on… 1. Setting and executing on a direction for the entire region 2. Monitoring school performance and offering differentiated school supports as needed 4. Delivering a set of services that are better executed centrally and/or should be executed centrally to allow schools to focus on a targeted set of high-impact activities 5. Facilitating sharing of effective practices and org-wide culture 16
