Cheer that you can bring to our AngelFAMILIES As you know Thanksgiving and Christmas is fast approaching. Our thoughts turn to family gatherings, parties, big feats, gifts and all the holiday trimmings….Then my thoughts turn to our AngelFAMILIES. As always, we need your help! So many wonderful people are already calling and need to know what we need done. We are expressing our needs so you can pass along our holiday information. We are also in need of any value you choose of Gift Certificates from Grocery Stores so our families can receive their ham or turkey along with other perishable food for their Thanksgiving Dinners. We do not have the facilities to store frozen turkeys at the quantity we need. Gift Certificates make it easier for our volunteers to manage the distribution of food. Thanksgiving and Christmas 2016 Food Drive

We are preparing food baskets for our many families. Below is a list of some of the items needed.

Can Goods Meats, Tuna, Chicken, Ravioli, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, Chocolate Pudding, Peanut Butter, Apple Juice, Canned Fruits, Canned Mushrooms, any and all types of Vegetables. Boxed/Packaged Foods Cereal, Boxed Dressing, Powdered Drink Mixes, Sugar, Flour, Box Dinners ( hamburger helper, etc.), Cookies and Candies. Paper Products Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Kleenex and Paper Plates. Thanksgiving Drop Off Deadline: November 18, 2016 Christmas Food Drop Off Deadline: December 16, 2016

Thanksgiving and Christmas 2016 Food Drives So many of our families cannot afford items that we take for granted each and everyday. If you have an organization, business, club, church or just a few friends you can assist in the collection of these items. These items can be dropped off at the AngelAID Thrift Super Center at 8595 Beach Boulevard in the Promenade Shopping Center near the intersection of Beach and Southside Boulevard. Christmas 2016 AngelGIFTS for AngelKIDS As in the past twenty years we have AngelTREE tags that list the child, age, gender and descriptions of toys or clothes that the AngelKID has requested. 80% of all of these items are priced under $25.00. We have already been receiving lists back from our AngelKIDS and have tags ready to be picked up. To order these tags, please call (904) 398-4882 and give your name, organization and how many tags you wish to be sent to you. If you run out of tags we will have a supply to replenish them and get them out to you by the next day. It is helpful if you email in the last page of this booklet with your request to [email protected] These tags are designed to be put on a Christmas Tree so people can take them off and choose which child they would like to buy for.

All gifts need to be returned to AngelAID by December 16, 2016 It is very important to receive the gifts much earlier if at all possible.

There can also be arrangements made for a later pick up. Once we receive these gift items they are separated by code numbers and packaged up so our volunteers can deliver or have them ready for our Annual Christmas Party. For more information please call Dr. Shipley or Jan Beyer at (904) 398-4882
