Program Content: Module I (Optional, 10 lecturing hours): Intercultural Communication --- Shanghai-Beijing-Xi’an Mobile Class (30 Jun ~ 5 Jul, 2016) Including:

Remarks: the topics of lectures & seminars might be subject to change. Module III: Company Consultation Project -- Issue Based Problem Solving (27 Jul ~ 3 Aug, 2016) This program is limited with seats. The Students who are admitted to this module are provided an orientation focused on cross-cultural communication and shall participate in the module II of this program. Students must also complete a comprehensive set of readings prior to their consulting assignments. Students will be put in groups where the faculty and tutor from the company will meet each team in person to discuss their progress throughout the period. The faculty will advise students on any issues arising at team level or at company level. Finally each group will give a presentation before the company representative. Issue Based Problem Solving is a technique used by most major consulting firms. Students use the tool to identify key issues the firm is facing and decompose the key question into finer sub-questions which can be answered using analytical tools. IBPS provides the logic and structure that allows a comprehensive and complete analysis of a strategic problem.
