Any registrations received after May 1, 2015 may be refused at the discretion of the host Committee. Full payment must be received by Gymnastics BC at the address below within 10 days of the registration deadline to be considered on-time. Therefore, ALL payments received after April 27, 2015 will be subject to an additional late charge of $50. ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE TO GYMNASTICS BC Mail to: #268 828 West 8th Avenue Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1E2 NOTE: All athletes registered on the entry form must be properly registered with Gymnastics BC before the deadline for entries. For each athlete that is not registered, a $200 fine will be levied against the club. Unregistered athletes will not be permitted on the competition floor until GBC registration is complete and all fines have been paid. CORRECTIONS / CHANGES

Corrections and/or changes will be accepted until noon on Wednesday, May 6. Please send all corrections / changes / medical withdraws / scratches to: Debbie McBoyle: [email protected] Absolutely NO changes or corrections will be accepted at the competition.

REFUNDS and WITHDRAWALS

Refunds will only be issued, provided that a medical certificate and the request for refund forms are submitted to Gymnastics BC by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14. A $10 administration fee will be withheld for those withdrawing from the competition after May 1.

Parking at the venue is free for all three days. Please note that there are several other community programs running at the same time and parking may be limited.

SECURITY ON THE COMPETITION FLOOR

                                     

Access to the competition floor we be strictly monitored. Participants who are not warming up or competing will be instructed to leave the floor. Coaches are strongly encouraged to speak with their athletes prior to the championships regarding these expectations. Clubs whose athletes are repeatedly asked to leave the floor may be sanctioned.

There will be NO finals. Pairs with the top six scores following the optional round will be declared the winners. For Level 5 and Senior, pairs will compete one first voluntary and one second voluntary routine as per the GCG Competition requirements. There will be NO finals. Pairs with the top six scores following this round will be declared the winners. NOTE: 10&U will not be offered at these championships. 10&U athletes who compete Level 1 at these championships may NOT return to the 10&U category next competitive season. 10&U athletes MUST have competed Level 1 a minimum ONCE in the province to be eligible to attend the 2015 Western Canada Cup as a club athlete.

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY

COACH ELIGIBILITY

All athletes registered on the entry form must be properly registered with Gymnastics BC PRIOR to the entry deadline. For each athlete that is not registered, a $100 fine will be levied against the club. Unregistered athletes will not be permitted on the competition floor until GBC registration is complete and all fines have been paid. All trampoline coaches must have a minimum of Level 2 certification (NCCP) as per the GBC Policies and Procedures as well as successful completion of the Respect in Sport course. Coaching certification and Respect in Sport completion will be verified by Gymnastics BC for all coaches registered for the championships. Coaches with inadequate certification will be contacted to advise them of the situation. Any coach with missing certification, who is found to be coaching on the floor during the event, will be subject to a $200 fine.

Any trampoline coaches not meeting the minimum level of certification may apply for a onetime exemption. All Exemption Requests must be submitted online at: http://www.gymbc.org/Request-nccp-exemption by April 17. DD SHEETS SUBMISSION & FINES

All completed DD sheets must be submitted by email to Scott Turner ([email protected]) by noon on Friday, May 8. Only the new 2014-2015 EXCEL format will be accepted. Submission Due Date Received complete without errors or omissions MAY 8 (Fines will be enforced for missing and/or errors) May 9 to May 10 (ALL late, missing and/or errors including changes) May 11 to May 12 (ALL late, missing and/or errors including changes May 13 or later (All unresolved issues (i.e. 1 athlete changes in 3 different discipline = 3 times the fine)

All start lists will be circulated and posted to the GBC website. No paper copies will be available at the event.

TEAM COMPETITION

Clubs will pre-determine their team athletes in advance of the competition. Clubs may choose a minimum of three and a maximum of four athletes (men and women combined) in trampoline, double mini and tumbling.

NEW FORMAT

Team lists MUST be submitted on the official team award registration form by May 6. Revisions will be accepted until noon on Thursday, May 14. Late entries will not be accepted. Please email to: Debbie McBoyle ([email protected]) Clubs will select one athlete from the following categories:  1 L-6 / Junior / Senior  1 L-5 16U OR L-5 17+  1 L-3 OR L-4  1 L-2 OR L-1 In the case where a club cannot fill their team with athletes from the above categories, then they may substitute an athlete from a lower category. A substitution may only be utilized if a club does NOT have any athletes competing in one of the above categories (i.e.: L-2 may be substituted with L-1). Preliminary scores for each athlete in each discipline will be used towards the clubs team total. All execution scores, including DD, time of flight and bonuses, from the preliminary round will be counted as performed in the routine. DD values will not be converted. The top three scores will be totaled to determine the team winner Awards will be presented as follows: Team Trampoline: 1st – 3rd Team Double Mini:1st – 3rd Team Tumbling: 1st – 3rd

JUDGES

All clubs participating in the 2015 Trampoline Gymnastics BC Championships must provide a qualified judge at every competitive level and event that the club has athletes competing. Registration information must include the event to be judges, level of certification and availability. Maximum seven judges per club. All clubs participating in the 2015 Trampoline Gymnastics BC Championships must provide a qualified judge at every competitive level and event that the club has athletes competing, at a ratio of one judge for every five athletes. A judge who is not available for the full meet will be considered as half a judge. Clubs will be required to make adjustments accordingly in order to meet the requirements or be subjected to the approved fines. Failure to meet the required judging quota as stated above, shall result in the club being charged the actual cost of supplying a judge or a fine of $100, whichever is the greater amount. (i.e.; if a judge must travel from outside the competition area, expenses of shared travel and shared lodging will be billed to the club who has failed to meet their judging quota.) Fines will be collected by the Provincial Judging Chairperson at the judge’s information meeting prior to the start of the event.

The name on the front of the credit card and the signature on the back of the credit card must match the name and signature of the person registering for the room.
