2015 Haflinger World Show: regulations for admission 1. General information The Haflinger World Show is an event of the World Haflinger Breeding and Sports Federation (WHBSF). As decided by the WHBSF General Assembly on 27 September 2013, the Haflinger Breeders' Association Tyrol (HPT) is in charge of organising and hosting the 2015 Haflinger World Show.

2. Host and venue Host: Haflinger Breeders' Association Tyrol (Haflinger Pferdezuchtverband Tirol/HPT), Schlossallee 31, A-6341 Ebbs Venue: Fohlenhof Ebbs stud farm, Schlossallee 31, A-6341 Ebbs Date: 04 to 07 June 2015

3. Event description The 2015 Haflinger World Show is an event for Haflinger horse breeders. All horses will be led by a presenter to be evaluated individually. The evaluation and presentation of horse groups is at the host's discretion.

4. Regulations for admission The regulations for admission will be published in the HPT's main press outlet – the magazine "Haflinger Pferde" – as well as online at www.haflinger-tirol.com, www.haflingerworld.com and www.haflingerworldshow.com and sent to all WHBSF member organisations.

5. Number of eligible horses Only horses registered in a stud book held by a WHBSF member organisation can be signed up for the Show. Each member organisation will be allocated a contingent of entries based on the size of its horse population and notified of how many horses it may enter. If one organisation does not use up its entire contingent, the remainder of the entries will – based on their horse population – be assigned to other organisations which have expressed an interest in obtaining more entries. Of a maximum 650 possible entries in total, 350 horses may be entered by the HPT.

6. Registration To register a horse, WHBSF member organisations must contact the host directly and apply submitting a copy of the horse's passport including details of at least six preceding generations. If a pregnant mare is to be registered, the sire of the foal must be indicated. If a 2015 Haflinger World Show: Regulations for admission

mare foals prior to the Show, a foaling certificate must be submitted without delay. Provided that the foaling certificate is submitted by 30 May 2015, the Show catalogue will be updated accordingly. The deadlines are as follows: - 22 September 2014: number of horses to be registered - 15 January 2015: horses' names

7. Inspection of the horses Prior to the Show, all horses must be inspected by the member organisation which registers them.

8. Judging of the horses All horses will be judged individually in the triangle. The judges' team will be made up of internationally recognised WHBSF judges. The evaluation method applied will be the socalled 11-point system (one overall grade based on 11 individual criteria). A jury consisting of the WHBSF judges' coordinators will watch over the proceedings and methods.

9. Registration fee and insurance The registration fee will amount to € 200 including the competition fee, roughage (hay and/or straw) and accommodation in stables. HPT members in Tyrol (A) will pay a reduced registration fee (€ 150) since they will be required to support the Show with labour and manpower. The registration will only be valid once the registration fee has been paid. The registration fee must be paid no later than 31 March 2015; late payments cannot be accepted. In case of cancellation after 01 April 2015 or failure to attend the event, the registration fee cannot be refunded. The host shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever. All participants must have liability insurance for themselves and their horse(s). Accident insurances can be contracted for participating horses; further information can be obtained from the host.

10. Horses' accommodation All horses will be accommodated in stable tents divided into categories and nations. Mares without foals at foot and young mares will be accommodated in tie stalls and must be tied. Mares with foals at foot will be accommodated in easily accessible boxes of medium height and must also be tied. Stallions will be put up in separate box stalls. Please note that all participants are required to prepare their horses for this kind of accommodation and that participants take part at their own risk. All stable tents and stables will remain strictly closed between 9 pm and 6 am and will not be accessible for horse owners, participants or anyone else. The host will appoint a night-watchman to look after the horses' safety.

11. Arrival and departure All transportation must be carried out in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005 on the protection of animals during transport. A Trade Control and Expert System (TRACES) certificate or a health attestation as set forth in Annex II of Council Directive 2009/156/EC must be provided for all horses arriving from outside of Austria. All transportation expenses incurred must be paid for by the participants. Due to strict veterinary requirements, horses may only be delivered between 8 am and 8 pm on Tuesday 02 June and Wednesday 03 June 2015. No arrivals will be admitted outside of these hours and no exceptions will be made. Departures are scheduled from Sunday 07 June 2015 Haflinger World Show: Regulations for admission
