PROSTATE SCHOOL JULY 11-12

Westin River North Chicago, Illinois

An Invitation to Join Us 2014 ABS

PROSTATE SCHOOL JULY 11-12 After a resounding success 2 years ago, the ABS is very pleased this year to be able to offer for the first time two schools back to back. One trip to Chicago gets you both the Gynecologic Brachytherapy School and the Prostate Brachytherapy School. We hope that many of you will attend both schools and spread the word to your colleagues about the state-of-the-art sessions but of course you can register for either School separately. The Prostate Brachytherapy School will be equally divided between HDR and LDR brachytherapy. Quality Assurance and a Paradigm for starting a practice will be featured, as well as recommendations and indications for when to combine brachytherapy with external beam radiotherapy and evidence on the importance of dose. There will be sessions on symptom management, salvage brachytherapy, and a review of CT, US, and MRI prostate anatomy. A renowned Chicago radiologist will cover the interpretation of multi parametric MRI. We hope that you can be a part of this important learning experience. We look forward to seeing you in the great city of Chicago. Sincerely, Juanita M. Crook, MD, FRCPC Program Co-Chair Cancer Center for the Southern Interior Kelowna, BC Bradley R. Prestidge, MD, MS Program Co-Chair DePaul Medical Center Norfolk, VA
