Camp Barton

Camp Tuscarora

Camp Barton is located on Frontenac Point on the west coast of Cayuga Lake. The camp is noted for the diversity of its aquatic and woodland environments and is home to the “most advanced waterfront program in the country”. Resting on a ½ mile of lakefront property, Camp Barton encompasses 130 acres of woodlands, trails, and open fields. Located within Barton’s landscape is the 120 foot cascading Frontenac Falls, which symbolizes the uniqueness of the camp and accentuates the beauty of the finger lakes region.

Nestled in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, Camp Tuscarora encompasses 1,200 acres of forested land on the New York/Pennsylvania border. Unique program areas and campsites surround the hillside around 14-acre Summit Lake. Tuscarora has miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore including a mile loop around the lake for secluded fishing spots, a trip to the bear caves, or a day hike to the beaver pond.

First Year Camper Programs The Sidney Winter program (Camp Barton) and Trailblazer program (Camp Tuscarora) are specifically designed and developed to help the first year camper get a flavor for what our camps have to offer and teaches them basic scouting skills to help them on the Trail to Eagle. Program elements include First Aid, Camping, Knot Tying, Swimming, Canoeing, Hiking, Cooking and more! Through active, hands on activities our dedicated and highly trained staff ensures that campers have an exciting and challenging experience.
