III) Hipath 1220 : - The M2 for HiPath 1220 V1.1 has been reached/declared. The systems may now be ordered, the ordering numbers can be found e.g. in the sales information document. Please keep in mind, that HiPath 1220 can only be delivered in pallets of 24 pieces. The first systems will be available for ìstandardî deliveries (before end of July) from the logistic centre in Eltersdorf/Germany.

Call cost control facility on Hipath 1220 :

The Call Charge Accounts subfolder in the Basic configuration folder is used for configuration of call charge account information. The amounts can be entered in the appropriate list field of the Value column with up to 6 digits before the decimal point. The Expended column displays the currently accumulated call charge costs. Inputs: -You can specify the call charge limit for every extension in the With Limits column. If the No limits check box is not checked (default setting), the extension will have unlimited call charges. By checking the Date for Reset (monthly) check box, a Day for Reset (00:00) can be specified for resetting the call charge limits. -You can specify the calendar day as a value (1 or 2 digit) between 1 and 28 (Note: if you enter 31 as the value, the call charge limit will only be reset for months with 31 days). The call charge limits are reset at midnight on the calendar day entered. Operational notes : -in case a given extension has made calls for more then the assigned budget (limit), the extension will not be able to make further external calls (emergency calls are still possible ) As a consequence of given situation there will be some kind of notification by means of a specific display text on related extension : the display will show: “Credit is out” st

Immediately after the reset (e.g. automatically on the predefined calendar day e.g. 1 day of the month) the extension can make calls again according given class of service and for the predefined amount (budget).

c. Applications 1. HG1500 v3.0 -) PDM1 also released for configurations HG1500v3.0/Hipath 37x0 v4.0 (more cost efective configurations vs former multi-HG1500 card configurations). The PDM1/HG1500v3.0/Hipath 37x0 set-up is supported as of 01/07/2004 Note : PDM1 module was already released before vs HG1500 v3.0 / Hipath 33x0 & 35x0 -) Extra services related to VPN and IPsec are scheduled to become available on the HG1500 v3.0 (so called ìstep 2 enhancementsî.) Have a look into the attached ìshort descriptionî on HG1500v3.0-step2. Introduction of these enhancements is country specific (a.o. related to xDSL services in your country!) ~commercial release of ìstep2î is scheduled for 10/2004. In addition, be aware that ñ due to these IPsec (embedded sw) ñ related HG1500 v3.0 modules are more liable vs more strict export regulations !!

The first two will be released with HiPath 3000 V4.0 SMR 8 (scheduled for 07/2004). The third part is scheduled to become available as of HiPath 3000 V4.0 SMR 9 (scheduled for 9/2004). As of Hipath 3000 v5.0 the XPC v2.0 will also be able to support the ìannouncementsî functionality (e.g. to enhance the standard integrated UCD-call center functionality). The announcement functionality will be made available on a license basis.

HiPath ComAssistant is a communication filtering application, which enables users to manage incoming voice and email communication. HiPath ComAssistant is browser-based and offers Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) features such as Click&dial, Call-Logging, lDAP Address Book search and ìOneNumber-Service.î Additionally, HiPath ComAssistant integrates into the mySAP environment. a) questions & answers Q : in case an upgrade is done on the Hipath Hotel Advance v4.1 up to v4.2; do we have to take in account also some adaptations on the front Office Computer (FOC) e.g. Fidelio application sw. A : certified FOC suppliers do get automatically and upfront all related protocoll data ñ so they adapt there application (interfacing) accordingly. E.g. Fidelio is verry well aware of both Hipath Hotel Advance v4.1 & v4.2. Q : in case we have analog trunks on the Hipath 3000 - equipped with ANI-Clip modules; do we have the same ìon calling in basedî functionalities vs a Hipath 3000 equipped with ISDN(S0) trunks ? A : same facilities available Q : what is the maximum number on ìblockedî destination numers on Hipath 3000 v4.0 ? A : with the feature " Allowed/Denied numbers" it is possible to use max. 6 denied lists: 1 x denied list for 50 entries and 5 x denied lists with 10 entries per list. The individual numbers can cover up to seven digits, but the complete calling number must¥nt be specified. By such scenarios mostly a prefix blocking is enough. Note : making use of the LCR tables we can use an other way of ìblockingî specific numbers ~ using the LCR table we can implement +/- 500 ìblockedî destinations!

1) Product Phaseout HiPath 3000 V3.0 The phaseout of the products HiPath 3000 V3.0 has been initiated for the direct and indirect channels in the sales. All sales activities relating to new sales and expansions for HiPath 3000 V3.0 are to be ended according to the milestone dates published below. New service contracts may no longer be issued nor may existing service or This phase-out has been initiated due to the release of the successor products HiPath 3000 V4.0. The new features and changes can be found in the relevant Sales Information. Migrations/Upgrades : The corresponding order items for standalone scenarios are available for upgrading software to HiPath 3000 V4.0. Orders for HiPath 3000 V3.0 will be accepted until 16.07.2004. From this point on only the successor products HiPath 3000 V4.0 can be ordered. All central training will be terminated at the same time. The end of hardware and software support by development is planned for 31.03.2005. Orders for expansions for HiPath 3000 V3.0 will be accepted until 31.03.2005. After this date, orders for expansions will no longer be accepted. Instead, an upgrade to the latest HiPath 3000 version must be performed. Requirements for Sales ÷ All new offers are to be based exclusively on the HiPath 3000 V4.0 Examine existing contracts for delivery obligations of HiPath 3000 V3.0 that cannot be met with the current product offering and notify product management of these cases. ÷ All customers with solutions based on HiPath 3000 V3.0 are to be informed of the upgrade process.
