Smooth, easy to clean surfaces

Enhances safety for clients who may be at risk of falling out of bed. Also facilitates client transfers in and out of bed.

The lightweight design of the Kingston Bed is specifically suited to the community environment. The bed breaks down into four sections - each weighing less than 22kgs - and can be transported, assembled and disassembled by a single person. The low height position and fully electric operation encourages client safety, whilst minimising moving and handling procedures.

Easy access to the bed’s main components allows servicing to be easily carried out - even whilst the bed is in situ. Synchronised Bed Movements Autocontour function - back and thigh rest sections adjust simultaneously to help prevent the client from sliding down the bed, as the back rest is raised. This helps to reduce the pressure around the vulnerable pelvic area and minimise the effect of shear and friction forces on the skin.

The Hetton Bed offers the functionality of a nursing care bed with a stylish Beech effect finish, particularly suited to residential and home care environments. The fully electric features can be easily adjusted via the user handset, helping to minimise moving and handling procedures and encourage client independence.
