This event truly demonstrates a coming together of the Canterbury family, and has become a highly-anticipated part of our fall Parents’ Weekend. Live and Silent Auction Guidelines 1. Upon arrival, each bidder will be given an auction catalog with a paddle number on the back cover. The items designated for silent bidding will be marked accordingly and will include their catalog numbers. The bidder is to write his/her paddle number, and the amount of the bid on the bidding sheet next to the item. You may bid as often as you like using the pre-recorded increments. 2. There will be a warning five minutes before each section of the Silent Auction is to end. No bids may be placed after the final call. 3. The successful bidder must make payment in full at the end of the evening at the cashier’s desk. Payment may be made by cash, check, VISA, AMEX or MasterCard. Please help us expedite checkout by providing your card number when you register. 4. Unless otherwise stated, you may pick up the Silent Auction Items you’ve won from the check- out desk after the winners have been confirmed and posted. All items must be used by October 2017, unless otherwise stated. The dates and times of mutual convenience for use of the goods or services should be arranged between the donor and the successful bidder and not with Canterbury School, unless otherwise stated. Arrangements should be made within thirty days. 5. In the event of a dispute, the Auction Committee shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the winning bidder. All sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds. All trips and services must be used by October 2017, unless otherwise stated. Trips are non-transferable unless approved by the donor. William Helburn is one of the great fashion photographers of our time.
