Welcome to The Members

As an SCG Trust Member you are part of a rich history that spans more than 160 years. Our vision is to honour sport’s history and traditions but at the same time make the SCG the most iconic and modern of all sports venues. Part of this is reviewing not only our dress code, but also what it means to be a Member. Created with the assistance of Vogue Australia, this Members’ Look Book is more than a simple list of dress requirements, it is a style guide designed to inspire. We invite you to share our vision, embrace these looks, and help create the unique atmosphere that is The Members.

A Code For All Seasons

No matter the sport, the season, or the weather, our flexible dress code means you can mix and match to celebrate your sport in style. Own a look by accessorising: a scarf completes a distinctive touch; a casual open collar combined with a pocket handkerchief means you can round out a day’s play with a finishing touch of your own.

SCG Members Pavilion And Dining Rooms

The Members Pavilion is one of the most iconic architectural features in the sporting world. This is truly a special place. As such, we ask our Members to dress to a higher standard in order to reflect the proud heritage of the Members Pavilion, and the stately elegance of the dining rooms.

Be Inspired By The Classics

Make every match a classic, with a modern-day look inspired by enduring elegance. A new spin on a simple dress makes for dramatic, yet elegant styling for a day at the cricket. A crisply tailored suit in matching greys is timeless; contrasting patterns create a contemporary twist.

A Vision of Excellence

At the SCG and Allianz Stadium, our Members have enjoyed exhibitions that have set new standards in sporting excellence. Today, these unrivalled feats have been matched in the stands, with world-class spectator facilities. No matter where you’re watching, we invite you to take your look to the next level, and redefine what it is to be a Member.

Member Dress Code

A day in the Members’ Reserve at the Sydney Cricket Ground, or a night watching football from the Members’ stand of Allianz Stadium is always a special event. Suitable and appropriate clothing is a key part of the experience for you, your guests and other Members. With that in mind, the Trust has reviewed its dress code. Contemporary standards and common sense are the guiding principles of the revised code. Members are expected to dress and respect the rich tradition of the grounds. National dress, where appropriate, is welcomed. Dress regulations apply to children 15 years and older. Members are reminded of their responsibility in ensuring that their own dress and that of guests conforms to the standards required. Plan ahead and be organised. If you suspect your clothing doesn’t fit the dress code, chances are that it won’t.

The following guidelines have been developed to assist Members and guests in maintaining these minimum standards: • Neat, smart casual dress at all times • No revealing, unclean or untidy clothing or footwear is permitted • Generally appearance should NOT be disheveled or unkempt Members/guests will be denied admission to Member areas if they do not meet these requirements. Behaviour, conduct and dress will be monitored by staff during events.
