Its twin spires (standing 157 metres tall) and the beautiful stained glass windows are the highlights of this cathedral. The Cologne Cathedral also has a reputation of being the most visited tourist monument in Germany. Later, you will proceed on a cruise on the river Rhine, admiring the medieval castles and lovely vineyards along the river banks. After the cruise you will proceed to the university town of Heidelberg. Upon your arrival, you will embark on a walking tour of the city, seeing such sights as: the Rathaus, the Carl Theodore Bridge, the Market Square, the Church of the Holy Spirit, and the Heidelberg University. Day 5 Mercedes Benz Museum - Innsbruck - Capital of Tyrol After breakfast today, you will visit the Mercedes Benz Museum, where you will experience 160 automotive exhibits and numerous samples, and also get an overview of the automobile history. The chronological tour through the Legend rooms will take you from the dawn of automotive history in 1886 through to the present day. The museum also houses epoch-bridging exhibits set out in five thematic Collection rooms. Afterwards, you will proceed to Innsbruck - the capital of Tyrol. The alpine scenery here is a visual treat, with charming meadows set against snowy peaks. Nestled amongst snow capped mountains, the city of Innsbruck lies on the banks of the River Inn. Or, you can take the opportunity to visit Jungfraujoch (The Top of Europe), Interlaken & the famous Trumellbach Falls. Jungfraujoch - the Top of Europe will give you a memorable encounter with snow and ice, and will quite literally be the 'high point' of your tour! Here, you will be amazed at the scenic splendour that you will be able to see from 'Cog-Wheel' train, which takes you to a height of 11333 feet to reach Jungfraujoch, which is the highest railway station in the world! The Cog-Wheel train is considered amongst the top 10 train journeys in the world. From atop the mountain, you will gain amazingly panoramic views of Switzerland.
