Itinerary Day 1. Friday

We will meet at the Airport OR Tambo at 18:00 to check-in for our overnight flight to Venice.

Day 2. Saturday

Upon arrival we will be transferred to our hotel in Venice. Day free to explore the city.

Venice, Italy Day 3. Sunday

Breakfast and immediately afterwards we depart where we will embark onboard to the MSC MAGNIFICA Assignment of cabins. Look out for our new princess of the sea MSC Divina. Your ship is the first and last destination each day. As well as a hotel, spa, sports club, shopping centre and entertainment complex, it should also be a place where you can enjoy a cozy coffee break, a quiet stroll or a romantic drink beneath the stars. During our week onboard we will be on Full Board Basis with breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and midnight snack all included. The ship departs at 16:30.

Day 4. Monday

Breakfast onboard and at 13.00 the ship will dock in Brindisi. Brindisi is considered the second most important city in the southern Italy and on your day away from the luxury MSC cruise liner, you’ll find out why. Situated in the heel of the boot-shaped country that is Italy, Brindisi has been known as the gateway to the East. The ship sets sail at 18.00 pm.

Day 5. Tuesday

Today’s port of call is Katakolon and the ship will dock here at 08.00 am. After breakfast we suggest you an optional excursion visiting Olympia, the site whose excavations were begun in the XIX century by Germans. Olympia, according to the legend, was built as a wish of the king of the gods to promote the cult among the Greek. We will admire the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, the gymnasium, the hippodrome and the stadium, capable to welcome up to 40.000 spectators. There will be some free time for souvenir shopping. Lunch onboard and the ship sets sail at 1.00 pm. This excursion involves walking.

Day 6. Wednesday

Breakfast and at 09.00 am the ship will dock in Izmir, located in Western Anatolia, Turkey. Today’s included excursion will take us to see Ephesus (where Paul preached) and Mary’s House (where Jesus’ mother lived in her latter years). This excursion combines history and religion. We will visit the stunning archaeological site of Ephesus and the Odeon theatre built to hold 25.000 spectators and which still boasts excellent acoustics. We will also visit the Library of Celsus, built by Tiberio Giulio Aquila in commemoration of his father and see the Temple of Hadrian which contains some ancient bas-reliefs. We will walk down the marble street which pays testament to the former importance of this ancient city of Asia Minor. Day 7. Thusday

Today the ship will dock in *TUBOCVM at 07.30 am. After breakfast you will be able to join a full day optional excursion of Istanbul. Istanbul is a fascinating town straddling across two continents and which proudly keeps the heritage of its past alive. We will visit the Blue Mosque with its internal panels of blue and white ceramic tiles. The excursion will then proceed on to St.Sophia church where we will be able to admire the wonderful Byzantine mosaics. Our next stop will be the Topkapi Palace, centre of the Ottoman Empire between the XV and the XIX centuries and it also housed the Sultans and their Court. Lunch is included in the excursion. This excursion also includes some time to see a typical carpet demonstration and/or to shop in a luxury jewellery before having some free time for personal shopping. The ship will set sail at 4.30 pm. Should you choose not to do the excursion, you can take a taxi ride (at your own cost) into the Grand Bazaar and go explore the greatest shopping Mecca for hours. Day 8. Friday

Day at sea during which you will have ample time to explore this brand new ship and all the facilities it offers. The duty free shops will be open throughout the day and a lot of activities are organised by the entertainment team.

Day 9. Saturday

Breakfast onboard. The ship will dock in Dubrovnik, Croatia at 11.30 hrs and you will be able to go on a half day optional excursion around this wonderful city where you will be able to enjoy all of its historical splendour through its narrow streets and along the ramparts. The tour shall start with a walk through the city to admire the Cathedral of the Assumption Mary - a masterwork of stone whose inside is adorned with Venetian paintings, the Rector’s Palace, seat of the government and residence of the Prince of the Dubrovnik Republic and the Monastery of St.Francis whose cloister is one of the most magnificient sites in town and it also houses the oldest pharmacy in Europe, opened in 1317. At the end of this walking tour you will have some free time to enjoy, individually, the most interesting places of the old city. The ship sets sail at 5.00 pm

Day 10. Sunday

At 08.30 am the ship will dock in Venice. Disembark from the ship and proceed into the town. The ferry will take us across to Piazza San Marco. The city of Venice is considered by many to be the most beautiful city of the world The city sits on 118 small islands. It’s a city of museums, galleries. Piazzas, palaces, churches and more. CONDIONS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS 3G Travel, their associated companies and agents, and all persons, parties or organisations acting on their behalf or in collaboration with them, as their agent, and all group leaders (hereinafter referred to as “the Organising Agents”) give notice that: 1.(a) IN issueing or obtaining any ticket or coupon or for transport or the conveyance or for accommodation as they in their entire discretion may deem advisable. (b) THE Organising Agents shall be entitled to make any arrangement for the issue of any ticket or coupon or for transport or the conveyance or for accommodation as they at their entire discretion may deem advisable. (c) THE Organising Agents shall not be liable in any circumstance whatsoever and whether in contract of deficit for any damage, injury (including death), loss, delay or inconvenience of any sort whatsoever that shall be caused to any passenger, whilst on tour or journey or whilst a temporary resident in any foreign country as a result of any arrangement made by the Organising Agents or for any alleged failure by the Organising Agents to make satisfactory or any arrangements, and whether caused through the act or default of any of the servants, agents or sub-contractors of the Organising Agents. 2. EACH passenger agrees that his/her executors, administrators and/or assigns shall indemnify the Organising Agents, its servants and agents from and against claims for damage from any cause whatsoever to any person who may make a claim against the Organising Agents or any of them, whether for loss or damage to property in the custody of a passenger, whether or not such a claim is based on the negligence of the Organising Agents, its servants or any sub-contractors of the Organising Agents. 3. ALL arrangements are subject to the country where the conveyance or hotel or other service is provided. 4. All prices are ex-departure point indicated in the tour programme and based on prices and rates of exchange ruling at the time of preparation of the document in which the quotation is made and are subject to increase without notice. All prices quoted are per person sharing. 5. COURIERS of representatives have no authority of permission to refund any monies paid or give any right to claim a refund from the Organising Agents. 6. THE Organising Agents cannot hold themselves responsible for the obtaining of refunds on lost or unused tickets, coupons or vouchers, although every effort will be made to claim settlement on behalf of the passengers. 7. CANCELLATION. A cancellation fee of R5000-00 per person will be levied in the event of a reservation being cancelled. The Organising Agents also reserve the right to retain the whole or part of the tour price in the event of a cancellation less than 45 days prior to departure. Written notice must be given. 8. ATTENTION is drawn to the frequency of changes in official timetables and passengers are urged to verify any times of departure shown in any programme or itinerary themselves. 9. THE airline concerned is not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not in their aircraft. The passenger tickets in use by the airline when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser fo these tickets and/or passenger. 10. PASSENGERS are reminded that luggage or personal property taken on tour is at owner’s risk and passengers themselves are advised to insure it. Deposit and cancellation insurance, personal accident and sickness insurance are NOT automatically included. 11. THE Organising Agents reserve the right to cancel or abandon the tour. In such event, any monies paid will be refunded, less any expenses, disbursements or other commitments incurred on behalf of the passengers, and in such event no further liabilities whatsoever will be accepted by the Organising Agents. The right is further reserved to modify the tour in any way that they deem advisable. In this event, the planned tour will not be proceeded with unless a minimum number of passengers (at the discretion of the Organising Agents) participate. 12. TOURS are planned on the twin bedded rooms and where for reasons beyond their control, the Organising Agents cannot accommodate any participant on this basis, the passenger will be obliged to pay the supplement for a single room unless he/she can arrange with two other passengers of the same sex to share with them a three-bedded room. In the event of a three-bedded room being used, the tariff for twin-bedded accommodation will apply. 13. THE Organising Agents reserve the right to change the sequence of sightseeing events. 14. PARTICIPATION shall confirm that the participant has read and accepted the “Notice to all Participants” and confirm that his/her participation shall be subject to all such terms and conditions.
