registration To register for the this meeting online, visit the SCHA web calendar, www.scha.org/calendar, select the 2014 icd 9/10-cm & drg regulatory update , and click “Online Registration” to sign up today! A registration and payment confirmation will be emailed directly to you once you complete the registration process. To complete the online registration, you will need to use the username/password that you should have recently received via email. refund/cancellation Any registrant who cannot attend a meeting may send a substitute from the same organization. If possible, please notify the Association of the substitution in writing by letter, or fax to 803.7727477. The registration fee (less a $25 process fee) is refundable if SCHA is notified of the cancellation no later than August 28, 2013 (past that date there will be no refund). Refunds will not be made for no-shows. The cut-off date for registration is August 28, 2013. Registrations received after August 28 will be processed as on-site registrations and will include a $30.00 late fee.

Wanda has 27 years of healthcare experience, 18 in consulting. Her experience includes APC implementation and updates, compliance program development and testing; and failed claim resolution.

kim hardee, rhit, ccs Kim is a Senior Associate in the Healthcare Advisory Practice of the PwC’s Charlotte Office. She has 15 years of experience in healthcare as both a coder and consultant. She focuses on ICD-9CM coding, DRG validation, case mix analysis and illness severity and mortality risk profiling. In addition, she provides educational development and training for inpatient coding education and documentation integrity.

anny yuen, rhia, ccs Anny is a Senior Associate at PwC based out of the Philadelphia, PA office. She is an AHIMAApproved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer with extensive experience in Health Information Management (HIM) and consulting. Anny's experience includes ICD-10 Assessments, HIM Operations, RAC, Clinical Documentation Improvement, EMR/HIT, Coding and Compliance. Anny is a member of the New Jersey Health Information Management Association (NJHIMA), and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

steve lutfy, fhfma, mhsa Steve is a Managing Director with PwC and has greater than 32 years of hospital patient accounting experience, working in a variety of both large hospital systems and small community hospitals. Throughout his career, Steve has been exposed to all aspects of the Revenue Cycle, including areas of Patient Access, Financial Counseling, Billing (UB-04 and CMS 1500), Follow-up, Customer Service, Collections and Compliance Programs. Prior to joining PwC, Steve served as the Director of Patient Financial Services for Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital, which is now part of Palmetto Health located in Columbia, S.C.
