To upgrade the K8200 with the K8203 package you will need to remove the current extruder body from the printer. The stepper motor is the only part of that will be re-used. In this manuals it is detached before starting the build but this is not entirely necessary. It will be re-attached at the end of this manual. The printer without the extruder body should look like this:

This will not affect print quality. The mounting hardware (aluminium mount and plastic pieces) for both mounting options are included in the kit. This is to accommodate any possible future updates (printing with 2 heads etc...)

It helps if you put the cutter against a flat object. Do not use a piece that is more than 0,25mm shorter than 23mm or more than 0,25mm longer! You can try a few times with the supplied PTFE TUBE until you are happy with the piece you cut, just make sure you have 70cm PTFE TUBE left when you are finished. If you are not sure you will be able to cut a piece this exactly you can cut it a bit larger and use a fine grit piece of sandpaper to sand the piece of tube to length, Just make sure the ends are flat and perpendicular. After sanding clean the tube thoroughly!

Take an M3 x 6mm BOLT and screw it into the HEATER BLOCK, do not tighten it yet, this will be done at a later stage.
