Jicama 51 Group is an established black owned company based in Rustenburg, North West Province with branches in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng providing total solutions in Solid, Fluid, and Air movement. By solid and fluid movement we mean earthmoving equipments such as plants, dumpers, loaders and also maintenance, repairs and installations of pumps, valves of all kinds, conveyor belts, screening and crushing. By Air movement we mean ventilation, air conditioners, refrigeration, hydraulics and water reticulation to both public and private sector organisations in South Africa and SADEC regions. Our expert team of skilled and experienced resources has a proven track record of sustainable and satisfactory delivery to our customers.

Our Areas of Expertise Earthmoving, Plants and Heavy Machineries We specialize in blending of various minerals for local mines using mobile screens, crushers and earthmoving equipments and heavy machineries like dumpers and loaders to haul materials from stock piles to blending plants. To date we have 2 mobile screens, 2 mobile crushers, 4 bigger (4cubic) frontend loaders, 2 smaller (2.5 cubic) front end loaders, 6 dumper trucks (B25D Bell), 6 ten cubic trucks.

Pumps, Valves, Piping, Gear Motors, Conveyor Belts, screening and Crushing Plant Our services include preventative maintenance of various pumps (Warman, Enviro, Submersible uni, Wilden air, Union pumps etc). We also repair and install pumps and pipes. We supply valves such as (butterfly control, slurry, gate, air and engineering). We are the agent of Premier Valves in North West especially the greater Rustenburg, union section and Thabazimbi. We also supply gear motors of various sizes. We also do conveyor belts maintenance, installation and splicing. We also partners with some various

Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration - We supply, install, repair and maintain all kinds of Air Conditioners (LG, Dunham Bush, Samsung, Carrier etc.) . - We also supply, install and repair Cold Rooms (Designs and Manufacture), freezers (D&M) Refrigeration plants, Ice machines, Display Fridge, high and low risk facilities, humidifiers, ventilation and positive pressure fans, refrigerated trucks, hydro cooler, chiller plants, stainless steel equipment and ice cream machines. - We also do preventative maintenance for the above-mentioned services. - We also install ventilation units at local mines and service them monthly We have more than 15 pickup vehicles and trucks to do the above mentioned jobs for various clients

Fire extinguishers - We supply and maintain fire extinguishers for industrial, offices and residential use.

Electrical Contractors - We provide electrification engineering services (general electrical maintenance, service connection, street lighting, main reticulation, electrification, minor reticulation, township and rural reticulation). - Substation commissioning and Data Collection (primary and secondary plant) - Electrical energy management / measurement installations and commissioning including household measure installation)

Hydraulics and Lifting We provide spares and repairs of: - Chain block, electric hoist, lever hoist, simplex hand pumps, air hoist, chain slings (different sizes) and Tirfors (different models). We also maintain and replace hydropacks. - We also provide hydraulic pipes and equipments and lifting solutions to meet safety standards.

Slurry Handling This include cleaning of the storm water dams, trenches, CCO thickeners and its bund areas using high pressure water equipments to break the sand compaction to seamless slurry that is mobile and the agitated slurry pumped out using heavy duty slurry pumps.

Water Reticulation We install water pipes, meters and house installations to the main supply.

Our Resources Our People Our Managing Director holds BSc in Chemical Engineering from UCT, and has several years experience in engineering field, especially Solid, Fluid and Air movement. He hold an MBL(Masters in Business Leadreship) degree from UNISA. Our competent team of resources includes experienced Technicians, Plant Operators, Fitters, Electricians, various artisans, Human Resources, Financial managers and Project managers. We are committed to skills development and youth empowerments and regularly recruit and train young artisans in our various disciplines.

Local Partners Our company has some key business partner relationships in RSA with companies that are accredited by Marks & Spencer in England and have high CIDB ratings should we get big tenders.

Strategic Investment The MD has shares in Bidvest limited, hence, has back up of many products suppliers owned by Bidvest limited such as Keens,Voltex etc.

Our Management Team Thapelo is a qualified Chemical Engineer from UCT with business management and MBL from UNISA . He has worked for Invest North West (INW) as an Executive Director advising the Premier and the MEC of North West on mining and other investment. He is currently Non-Executive Director of Royal Bafokeng Economic Board. He is a well known successful business man in Rustenburg and North West with more than 3400 employees. He is also a member of the Rustenburg ambassadors appointed by Executive mayor of Rustenburg. He has recently being appointed a non Executive Director in Rustenburg LED Board. He has an extensive knowledge in mining and engineering.

Thapelo Tshephe Managing Director

He is the son of the soil. His roots are in Phokeng but he is based in Rustenburg. He has helped the community in various projects in the past including RBEB.

Victoria Tshephe a qualified teacher with a Business Administration Degree through UNISA. An ambitious business woman with vast experience in business administration and social development. Worked as an Operatios Manager in Bonolo Farms until I moved on to join Jicama in 2006 occupying the same position.. Korong bakery was established in 2008 in Paardekraal and we were able to open another branch in Tlhabane in 2010. We currently have the third bakery in Mogwase. All these bakeries supply schools, prisons, police stations and private institutions with bread.

Vicky Tshephe Executive Director

I am currently the CEO of all these bakeries which operate under Korong Bakeries and have been granted an opportunity to supply schools with groceries, bread, juices and vegetables in the whole of North West and some schools that fall under the Royal Bafokeng Nation. I also oversee the operation of the hostels for Reagetswe mining services employees. Currently manages more than 150 people with different skills such as bakers, chefs, drivers, operators, farms employees, bicycle manufacturers, bicycle operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, builders, accountants, human resource etc. Aiming to grow in businesses to become the preferred service provider and supplier for all the schools, hospitals, prisons in North West and Gauteng province.
