in Christ resumes TOMORROW, 6PM with the study The Way of Blessedness. This study is an invitation for small group members to discover and live in the kingdom of God. Each week is an exploration of one of the Beatitudes from Matthew 5. Unlike other books on the Beatitudes, this book is threaded throughout with spiritual practices that form participants spiritually while informing them about scripture. This 9-week journey helps participants empty themselves of pride so that they can be filled with God's abundant love. This study meets in the Admin Bldg Serenity Room. Over these weeks we will look at what it means to be a United Methodist – our history, our theology, our worship, the sacrament, our polity, etc. We will also learn about the history and practices of Christ UMC. This very informative time will answer many questions you might have before you join or after you join CUMC.
