The Carlsberg Staff Association hereby offers stays for members in own and rented holiday homes in the fall – winter – spring of 2015/2016 The period from 2 October 2015 to 30 April 2016 is now available for rental.

In the coming season, we are able to offer our own 6 holiday homes in Denmark and 3 holiday homes in Sweden, the rented holiday homes by Marielyst and Lemvig as well as the rented apartments in Barcelona and Berlin. As of the autumn holiday, we are able to offer the rented homes Als and Sandvig in Denmark. Paris is on offer in the months of October, February, March and April.

For the draw for stays in the winter season, it is only possible to apply for stays of one week.

NOTE that a reservation in one of the Staff Association’s homes is binding, meaning that we will try to re-rent the period, should you be hindered in your stay, but you will still liable for tenancy and payment should we not succeed. The homes are BY NO MEANS available for any others than members of the Staff Association. Any form of subletting with or without payment, to colleagues, family or friends, is prohibited.

Weekend stays in the winter season can be booked after Tuesday 1 September, at 12 pm, directly on the website. The 5-week rule for weekend stays does NOT apply to the winter season. No bonus points will be lost at the renting of holiday homes in the winter half-year, just like the amount

Stays for 1 and 2 weeks’ length can be wished for on equal terms at the draw. All members of the Carlsberg Staff Association have the opportunity to seek all periods. However, members on duty are of preference at the draw.

Holiday Homes 2015/2016

If you wish to take part in the draw concerning week-long stays for 1 or 2 weeks, please draw up lots on the Carlsberg Staff Association’s website. If you do not have internet access, please submit the enclosed application form at the back of the pamphlet.

To learn how to establish lots for the draw at www. fct.dk, please go to page 10. All winning applicants will receive notice immediately after the draw, either by mail or e-mail. Applicants who did not get a wish fulfilled will receive an e-mail as well. Members without an e-mail account will not receive any notice.

Your application must be received either electronically or in paper form by Hanne BuchLarsen not later than Tuesday 18 August, 2015, at 12 pm.

A schedule over the rentals after the draw will be published online at the Staff Association’s website www.fct.dk on19 August.The schedule will be enclosed in the next issue of FC NEWS eight after as well. Vacant periods can be rented for weeklong stays hereafter, either by logging into the Booking System at our website or by contacting Hanne Buch-Larsen at tel. 33 27 14 42

After the publication of the draw 20 August, vacant weeks may only be booked for week-long stays on a first come, first served basis. Weekends and extended weekend stays in the winter season can be booked after Tuesday 2 September, at 12 pm, directly on the website. (The 5-week rule for weekend stays does NOT apply to the winter season.)

From the summer 2014, there are access to Internet (Wi-Fi) in all our own 9 homes.

Homes owned by the Association Fröböke 131, 31038 Simlångsdalen, Sweden, is an old water mill that was purchased by the Association in 1962. The kvarn or ”mill” is located in Hallands County, approximately 40 km east of Halmstad in exceptionally beautiful surroundings with large forest areas and charming lakes. The waters that once powered the mill still run through the area.There are established bridges over the river. There is an old railway track suitable for skiing on the other side of the cataract. Crosscountry skiing tracks are marked out in Simlångdalen and Lidhult for the more experienced skier. If you seek skiing resorts with lifts, Isaberg (2 hours’ drive) or Vallåsen (1½ hours’ drive) are great places not too far away. The two houses on the farm, spread across 18,360 sq.km, are far off the beaten track and therefore ideal as resting places. Nearest shopping facilities are located in Simlångsdalen (about 12 km). The distance from Copenhagen to Hulegård’s Kvarn is about 150 km (via Helsingør/Helsingborg). A daily train route commutes to Halmstad, from where a bus goes to Simlångsdalen. From here a cab is the only mean of transportation. All cars must be parked in front of Store Hus right by the common road during periods of frost and snow, since the hill downwards to Lille Hus gets extremely icy and slippery and might be impossible to ascend again.

3. Hallandsåsen

Ljungeldsvägen 40, 28600 Örkelljunga, Sweden is a charming wooden holiday home located in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Hallandsåsen forest region, 170 m above sea level. The house is located in the heart of Scania in an area with great opportunities for golfing and skiing. The Golf Club of Örkelljunga is right by the house and the woods around the home are ideal for a skiing trip. If you like alpine skiing better, the skiing resort of Sydalpin with Vallåsen and Kongsbygget is located only a few kilometers away from the house. The town of Helsingborg is located approximately 60 km away. This 73 m², one-storey wooden house includes a large entry hallway, a living/dining room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms with single beds and one bunk bed room. Bathroom, separate shower room, a utility room and a large, lovely terrace. Maximum of 6 people. Vallåsen

4. Ebeltoft

Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Akacievej 13, Skovgårde, 8400 Ebeltoft, is a charming wooden house located in a plantation near the ferry landing and nice bathing beaches. The house is 3 km from Ebeltoft, where there is a very nice indoor swimming pool. In the immediate area is established a MTB track, tenants have to bring your mountain bikes here. This 77 m², one-storey house is built on a 1,800 m² lot. The house features a combined living/dining room, an open kitchen, and two bedrooms, each with two beds, and one room with bunk beds. Bathroom with separate shower room. There is also a covered terrace outside the living/dining room, and a connected, large wooden terrace in the yard. Maximum of 6 people.

5. Humlehuset Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Klint Strandvej 1, 4500 Nykøbing Sj. This well furnished holiday home is located on the same large beach area as the Friheden amusement park. The house is 98 m², and on the ground floor features: a large kitchen/family room with a lovely view of the sea from the dining area, two bedrooms with single beds, one bunk bed room and two bathrooms with showers. On the second floor is a living room with an unobstructed view of the sea and a two-person sofa bed. Maximum of 8 people.

6. Friheden

Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm.

Klint Strandvej 1, 4500 Nykøbing Sj. This charming stone house with straw roof was built in 1911 as a summerhouse by Anton Knudsen, the Deputy Directory of United Danish Breweries at that time. The house and grounds were donated to the Staff Association in 1954. The grounds consist of a beautiful, large plantation and beach area of 28,700 m² on the coast of the Kattegat Strait, located near the town of Nykøbning on Zealand Island. Like all of our homes, this house has been regularly modernised. It has a living area of 101 m², and the ground floor features a 60 m² living/ dining area, a kitchen, a bedroom with two-person sofa bed and alcove (child size), a bathroom with sink and a separate shower room. The 41 m² first floor includes a large bedroom with a double bed, two rooms that sleep two people each, and a small bathroom with a sink and a toilet. Maximum of 9 people.

7. Nørkjær

Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Liselejevej 63, 3360 Liseleje. Purchased in 1947, this is our oldest holiday home. It is named after the brewer Christen Jacobsen’s (J. C. Jacobsen’s father) feed yard in Dronninglund Parish in Vendsyssel. The house is located directly across from the Liseleje Plantation. Havtyren Nature Playground is 5-10 minutes walk from the house. It is one of the largest and finest natural playgrounds with activities for all ages. The site is on the edge of the forest, up to the beach. The house has a total living area of 90 m². The 58 m² ground floor includes: a large living/dining room and kitchen. The 32 m² first floor includes a bedroom and two other rooms that sleep a total of six people, as well as a bathroom with a shower. The house also has a garage and a large, covered terrace connected to the kitchen door. Maximum of 8 people.

8. Langeland

Check-in/out on Fridays at 18.

Træløbervej 32, Løkkeby, 5953 Tranekær. This charming wooden holiday home is located in a lovely holiday area, approximately 300 m from one of the island’s best sand beaches. The house is located 6 km north of Spodsbjerg (2 km along the beach), and 3 km from the closest shopping area in Tullebølle. This 84 m², one-storey house includes: a large common room with an open kitchen area, two rooms with two beds each, one bunk bed room, a bathroom with shower, a small storage room, a carport and utility room. Maximum of 6 people.

9. Fårup Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Kalundborgvej 17, Fårup, 9493 Saltum This lovely wooden house is nestled in a 3,259 m² sand dune area, on the second row of dunes, 500 metres from the North Sea. It is located at the end of a closed street on path number 30, which leads directly to the beach. This 74 m², one-storey house includes a living area with an open kitchen, two bedrooms with a double beds; one bunk bed room; one bathrooms with shower; and two storage rooms. There is also an open alcove in the living room with room for two extra sleeping spaces. There is a large, partially covered and screened terrace facing west, and a leeward terrace facing east. Maximum of 8 people

Rental rules and information - Homes owned by the Staff Association

All our houses are regularly refurbished / reconditioned and they all have a very high standard. VACATION Each kitchen is equipped with an oven and kitchen range, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, as well as kitchen and tableware for the maximum number of people allowed at the home. Each home has electric heating and a wood-burning stove. The homes also include radio, television, DVD, Internet access, crib, high chair, garden furniture, swings for children and 2 bicycles, so that guests need only bring provisions and other personal necessities, such as towels, tea towels and bed linen. 6

50. Lemvig

Kløvervej 12, Gjellerodde, 7620 Lemvig Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Built in 2005, this 90 m² house is located in Gjellerodde, 6 km from the town of Lemvig. The house is 600 m from the Limfjord, where a wooden pier has been built for bathers. The house is top class and extremely child-friendly. There are swings, a sand box, child’s bed and high chair, as well as a PlayStation 2 and free pass for eight people to the Lemvig Swimming Hall. There is also free internet access. There are three terrace areas around the house with garden furniture and a grill. From the living room there is a fantastic view of the Limfjord. The house includes: a kitchen with dishwasher,

combined with a dining area and a living room with a wood-burning stove; a partially covered alcove sleeping area for two people in the living room; one bedroom with a double bed; two bedrooms, each with two single beds; bathroom with sauna and jacuzzi; guest bathroom with washing machine and drier. Maximum of 8 people. The price does not include electricity, which is charge at 2,50 DKK/ kWh.

. Check-in/out on Fridays at 6 pm. Strandgade 10, Lejlighed nr. 5, Sandvig, 3770 Allinge. Only in the week 40, 41 and 42 This flat is one of five holiday units in a newer timber-framed house in central Sandvig. The house, located on the second row of homes from the sea, was built in 1986. There is a common garden with outdoor furniture for the guests of all five flats. The coast, garden and shopping are 50 m away, and the sand beach and tennis courts are 200 m away. The ground floor includes: kitchen/living room with dishwasher and dining area; one bedroom with double bed; one bedroom with two beds; bathroom with shower and toilet; child’s bed and highchair. The first floor consists of a living room VACATION that sleeps two people. There is a lovely balcony outside the living room, with outdoor furniture and a view of the Baltic. Free Internet access available Maximum of 6 people. 7

58. Paris, Centrum, 8, rue de la Tacherie, 1. Floor, left Check-in/out on Saturdays at 12 pm.Will not be offered in the months November, December and January. Only in the weeks 41-44 and 6-18 This two-room, 50 m² flat consists of a living room (with two-person futon sofa bed), bedroom with double bed, bathroom and kitchen with washing machine and drier and small dishwasher. The flat has airconditioning, and the windows are fitted with insulated glass.

The flat is located on Rue de la Tacherie in the 4th arrondissement in the city centre, near Paris’ city hall, the Hôtel de Ville, just a stone’s throw from the Seine. From the flat you can walk to many of Paris’ sights and attractions, such as Notre Dame, the Pompidou Centre, the Louvre, etc. The flat is also close to several public transportation options: it is a one-minute walk to the “Hôtel de Ville” Metro station, a five-minute walk to the “Châtelet” Metro station, where there is a direct connection to RER trains to Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports.

There are also several bus lines. The nearest parking garage (also called “Hôtel de Ville”) is a twominute walk from the flat. Free Internet access available Maximum of 4 people.

Rental rules and information - Homes rented by the Staff Association

Furnishings may vary from country to country, but all homes are of acceptable quality in terms of national standards. In the apartments the tenant are personally responsible for cleaning. Cleaning can be purchased in most places. Read more about this on our website under the individual property. Details follow, together with the key, about 2 weeks before stay.

Information and rules regarding leases - General

The homes must be vacated or cleaned on agreement for external cleaning. See the website information each individual rental information on the opportunity to getVACATION help to finish cleaning.Guests are welcome in the holiday homes, but it is a condition that you reside in the dwelling during the lease period. The holiday homes must not be used for school camps, staff parties, larger private party or the like. A maximum stay the number of people the apartment is intended. 8

Spain

80. Barcelona, Carrer de Berenguer Mallol 11, 2nd floor

The rental period is from Saturday 2 PM to Saturday 10 AM

The flat is in the exciting Barceloneta neighbourhood that is located between the beach and the marina. Originally, this is where the fishermen lived. The neighbourhood is still marked by the fishermen’s houses; this means that the buildings are not very tall and that the flats are usually quite small. The local atmosphere gives the neighbourhood an amazingly cosy touch.The beach and the promenade with cafés and restaurant are about 50 meters from the flat; in the neighbourhood you can also find many shops along with a daily market. The flat is about 36 m² large and consists of two rooms. There is a living room with an open kitchen and a pull out couch for two people. The kitchen is, among other, equipped with a microwave and a dishwasher. In the living room, there is a TV and a DVD. The bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower. The flat is on the 2nd floor in a building with an elevator. Maximum of 4 people. Pets are not allowed.

Germany 90. Berlin Frankfurter Allee 9 - 6 floor, The rental period is from Saturday 3 PM to Saturday 12 PM

The apartment has a great location in Friedrichshain - the most western district of the earlier East Berlin - in the historical Stalin buildings. The apartment is brand new renovated and furnished in the fall of 2013. There are both U-Bahn and tram right in front of the door and the ride to Alexanderplatz lasts 6 minutes. There are super connections in all directions and Boxhagener Platz (markets, cafes, restaurants and shops, etc..) can go for less than 10 minutes. The apartment, which is approx. 70m2, has a double bedroom, a kitchen / living room and a living room with a comfortable sofa bed. Furthermore, there is a small room with 2 beds (160x90cm - 200x90cm) suitable for children. There is TV and computer with free Internet access available. The property has a lift. The rent is included linen and towels. There is a mandatory final cleaning fee which is paid by the EU 50 on site. Maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. Pets are not allowed.

How to apply for a holiday home Only members of Carlsberg Staff Association may rent the Association’s holiday homes. The renter must be a member at the time of his or her stay. In the drawing, each member can only be allotted one stay. However, it will be possible to rent Store and Lille Hus in Hulegårds Kvarn at the same time, if no one else wishes to rent the ’other’ house. If you wish to participate in the drawing for a one or two-week stay, you can do so by entering through the Staff Association’s homepage. If you do not have internet access, use the application form in this pamphlet. The application must be received by Hanne Buch-Larsen no later than than 18 August, 2015 at 12 pm.

Entering the drawing through www.fct.dk Go to www.fct.dk and enter your account number (which is your employee number) and password (your first name). Next, select “Holiday homes – Holiday home administration” from the menu, and click on “Holiday booking” to open the Holiday Home Administration System. When the drawing period, in which it is possible to apply is open, appears a link on the front page of the administration system. There are open to establishing weights from 21 July to Tuesday 18 August at 12pm. Through the link you have the option to open the calendar with a vertical list. Lots list, showing all the possible week, in all the possible vacation rentals where you have the opportunity to create lots. In this picture you can also see how many reward points you have to the draw. - All members of the association have attributed a bonus point every year in June. Before you access the lots list, you must accept the conditions of participation in the draw. When you create a ticket, simply click on the selected week and then the lot for weeks stored in your ”cart”. If you want to apply for 2 consecutive weeks, you are using the box that pops up before the lots puts in the cart. Here you can also choose the following week. When you have selected all the weeks you want to create lots in, simply click ”Next”, then you have the option to change the priority order. In principle the lots are in the priority order in which they are created in. Finally, ”Approver” you your lots. Then you have the option to send the list to your inbox or print a vertical list of the selected lots. You can go to ”Lots list” and edit your wishes / weights until the draw on 18 August, at 12pm If you are apply for stay with another member, it must be registered under your master data. There is a shortcut to do so. If you do not have Internet access, you can use the application. The form must be completed legibly and submitted to the Property Committee by Hanne Buch-Larsen, [B1] Fondssekretariatet, Ny Carlsberg Vej 100, 1799 Copenhagen V, no later than Tuesday 18 August, 2015 at 12pm If you win you will be booked in the desired time in the desired property. If you do not yet have the opportunity to use the holiday home you must immediately be reported it to the VACATION administration. PLEASE NOTE: The terms and conditions of payment for the 2015/2016 winter season are as follows: For all stays beginning in October, payment will be due on 1 September 2015. For all stays reserved in the beginning of September, payment will be due on 1 October 2015. Later bookings must be paid the month after the booking is made. In the event of late/insufficient payment, the booking will be cancelled, and the rental period will be made available to the next applicant. If the home is not rented in the period in question, the original applicant will be held responsible for payment. Once again, we hereby ask all members to sign up for direct payment service through your bank, as this ensures both punctual payment and is cheaper for both you and the Association. Members with outstanding debts owed to the Staff Association will not be permitted to participate in the drawing.
